From a single dental practice to $200M+ in healthcare transactions

Most healthcare companies don’t have a strategy problem. They have an execution problem. Dr. Roshan Parikh has spent 20+ years bridging that gap.. Known across the industry as "Dr. Ro," he is a clinician-turned-operator (DDS + MBA) who brings something most GTM leaders can’t: he’s sat in the chair, run the practice, built the DSO, and advised the fund. 20+ years on both sides of the table.

The Foundation

It started in 2008 with a single dental practice in Chicago. Over the next 11 years, Dr. Ro grew Great Lakes Dental Partners from that one practice into a 35-office, multi-specialty DSO with 100+ dentists, 350+ employees, and $60M+ in annual revenue. He built comprehensive specialty coverage — orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, pediatric, prosthodontics — creating a platform that eliminated referral leakage and maximized per-patient revenue. In 2015, he executed a PE recapitalization, positioning the business as a platform investment.

The experience was formative. He'd built a platform from nothing, navigated PE dynamics from the inside, and learned that the gap between clinical excellence and financial performance wasn't a trade-off — it was an opportunity.

The Fortune 1 Test

In 2019, Walmart recruited Dr. Ro to build their dental services division as part of Walmart Health & Wellness. Starting from scratch — again — he launched and scaled the division to 13 locations across 3 states, generating 70%+ of Walmart Health's aggregate topline revenue. He managed a $20M+ annualized budget, scaled per-location revenue 200%, reduced staffing costs 45% per site, and was part of the executive team laying groundwork for a national model targeting 1,000+ locations.

This chapter proved something critical: the playbooks he'd built as an entrepreneur scaled inside the largest organization in the world.

The Turnaround Artist

Next came two consecutive turnarounds that tested — and validated — his full range. At dntl bar, a struggling NYC-based DSO, he delivered 360% revenue growth, achieved an 88 NPS, and led a successful sale in April 2023, scaling from $3M to $10.8M annual run rate and expanding from 3 to 5 locations.

At VIVA Pediatric Healthcare, a PE-backed home health agency in decline, he reversed a 12%+ year-over-year revenue drop, stopped ($100K/month) cash burn, shifted the enterprise to a 10% EBITDA run-rate, and championed a $25M PE family office investment — all while leading a complete rebrand and introducing a new care coordination model.

The GTM Sprint

Most recently, as Chief Revenue Officer at RipeGlobal (2025–2026), Dr. Ro took a $4M ARR Australian dental education company and built the US go-to-market engine from zero. In 8 months: 9 DSOs signed — including Heartland Dental (800+ locations), GEDC, and NADG. The GEDC pilot delivered 58x ROI, a $155/hour production increase per dentist, and $6.4M in annualized revenue impact. He secured partnerships with Pearl AI, ADSO, UptimeHealth, and High Point University. He authored the market positioning thesis — "Before the AI Algorithm, Build the Dentist" — that became the cornerstone of every sales and investor conversation.
